One of my favorite things in the world is my home city of Cincinnati, Ohio. I go to visit a few times a year, and when I do I often take dozens—sometimes hundreds—of pictures of the scenery, architecture, people (with their permission, of course), food, sports, and a whole host of other elements of the city and what's around it. Most of those pictures sit in the cloud and are rarely shared outside of that context. After some recent visits, though, I thought it would be cool to share a select number of pictures I took that capture some of the essence of Cincinnati-area architecture, food, academic institutions, and scenery.
After I posted those albums, though, I realized something else: I have a lot of pictures of two other metros where I've happened to reside, too: the Twin Cities of Minnesota, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Sifting through that photography, I found some album-worthy scenes that I decided to share on this site as well. Then, in August 2024, I started curating some photography I took of natural scenes more generally removed from the urban landscapes toward which I tended more frequently; some of those scenes find a home on this site, too.
Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you enjoy the pictures.
